Wrapping disposable
engineered brush components
on the Double-Band machine. |
Double-Band Brush Winding incorporates two strips of carbon or stainless steel in the brush channel for added strength and integrity.
In the double-band process, filament is laid across the bottom layer of steel, then a second layer is placed on top. The brush channel is formed by crimping the two layers together, holding the filament firmly in place.
Machine capacity:
- Maximum Brush Length: 166"
- Minimum Brush ID: 3"
- Maximum Brush ID: 19"
Double-Band Brush Winding is ideal for abrasive filament brush components where brush density is not a critical concern. For applications such as aluminum roll finishing where a heavy brush component is preferred, United Rotary Brush offers Single-Band Brush Winding, which allows for tighter, closer wraps with increased density.
